The World Health Organization has said a resurgence of Covid-19 is already beginning, with 30 European countries seeing an uptick in cases, including Russia, Germany, Spain and the UK. If left unchecked, the WHO warns this will again push health systems to the brink. WHO figures for Europe show more than 20,000 new cases, and 700 deaths, each day.
