Tariff threats are flying in all directions. The US just managed to stitch together a truce with China and now US President Donald Trump is upping the ante against the European Union over an old dispute over aircraft subsidies for Boeing and Airbus. The US has released a new list of goods up for tariffs worth four billion dollars. It includes metals, cheese, cherries and whiskey.
