President Trump signed what’s described as a “safe third country” agreement with Guatemala, which requires immigrants who pass through Guatemala on their way to the U.S., to seek asylum in Guatemala instead of at the U.S. border. And there was also a Supreme Court ruling regarding the president’s promised border wall.
