Australia’s consumer watchdog is suing Samsung Electronics for claiming its Galaxy smartphone was suitable for all types of water use, including swimming pools and surfing. It alleges Galaxy commercials misled consumers, with more than 300 advertisements showing the phones submerged in the sea or at the bottom of swimming pools.
