The PM has denied lying to the Queen over the suspension of parliament, insisting such claims were ‘absolutely not’ true. The allegation that Johnson might have lied to the Queen about his reasons for prorogation was fuelled by yesterday’s judgment from the Scottish court that the government’s prorogation of parliament was unlawful.
