Using AI to predict pancreatic cancer risk


Each year in the United States, more than 66,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Just 13% live more than five years after that diagnosis. That’s because most cases aren’t detected until after the cancer has spread. But now, researchers hope artificial intelligence can help doctors better determine who is at risk for this disease before it’s too late.
